Interestingly, the test vehicle was nearly devoid of any camouflage, providing a clearer view of the car’s appearance, especially its rear-end styling. In terms of details, the rear lighting arrangement resembles the current model’s roofline but features a square pixel-like pattern.
In other aspects, judging by the number of rear headrests visible, the rear glass appears to have a sharp angle and seems to offer good rearward visibility. A small spoiler on the trunk lid appears to be more in line with the car’s style rather than serving as a functional aerodynamic component.
Despite earlier rumors suggesting that the new Dodge Charger would continue to use a traditional combustion engine, the absence of exhaust tailpipes in the spy photos strongly indicates that the test vehicle is likely an all-electric car.
Regarding the exterior, the design of the new Dodge Charger blends elements from the current Challenger and the 1968-1970 Charger, incorporating some modern touches like the nose’s wingtips. As of now, there’s limited information about the interior of the new car. Preliminary renderings have revealed a minimalist cabin with a digital instrument cluster and a concept of a roughly hexagonal infotainment screen. Below the screen, there are a few physical buttons, but overall, the console is simple, with the gear shifter being a prominent element.
In terms of power, the company has remained silent on power data, but there are rumors suggesting that consumers may have the option to choose from various power outputs ranging from 455 horsepower to 880 horsepower.
The new Dodge Charger is expected to make its debut before the summer and is anticipated to enter the market around the end of 2024. However, pricing details for the new car are currently unavailable. With test mules already spotted, more information is likely to be revealed soon.
