What are the five major systems of the engine

The five major systems of the engine are: ignition system, starting system, cooling system, lubrication system, and fuel supply system. The ignition system mainly consists of the battery, generator, breaker, ignition coil, spark plug, etc. The starting system mainly consists of the starter and its auxiliary devices. The cooling system mainly consists of water pump, radiator, fan, water manifold, cylinder block drain valve, cylinder block and cylinder head, etc. The lubrication system mainly consists of oil pump, oil filter, pressure limiting valve, oil passage, oil coarse filter, oil fine filter, oil cooler, etc. The fuel supply system mainly consists of gasoline tank, gasoline pump, gasoline filter, air filter, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, exhaust muffler, etc.

The functions of the five major systems of the engine are as follows:

1.Ignition system: Ensures that the compressed mixture in the cylinder is ignited at the specified time.

2. Starting system: Enables the stationary engine to start and transition to normal operating condition.

3.Cooling system: Dissipates the heat from the heated engine components to the atmosphere, ensuring normal operation of the engine.

4.Lubrication system: Delivers lubricating oil to the surfaces of moving parts under pressure, reducing friction resistance between them, reducing wear and tear on the components, and also serving to cool and clean the friction components.

5.Fuel supply system: Mixes gasoline and air into an appropriate combustible mixture that is input into the cylinder for combustion, and exhausts the burned exhaust gases out of the engine.
